This programme covers two academic sessions and is divided into the Lower sixth and upper sixth forms. Although there is an opportunity of a fast-track programme of 15 months.
1. The Lower Sixth Form
The subjects will be three compulsory subjects namely;
A-LEVEL SUBJECTS:
Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Business Studies, Mathematics, Psychology, Accounting Sociology, Further Mathematics, Geography, Literature in English and ICT.
The core A-level takes 6 hours per week per subject while English language and mathematics take 3 hours a week with ICT taking 2 hours.
2. The Upper Sixth Form
Any student that opted to continue will only concentrate on the three core subjects only (Three A – Level Subjects). It also involves Seminar, presentation and research methods.
This is a one – year programme which would lead to admission into our partner universities in US, UK, Europe and Canada. It also gives students the opportunity of high score for choice courses through UTME and Post UTME for those who desire to study in Nigerian universities.
This is a one-year programme designed to prepare SSCE holders for university admission. It will specifically prepare students for UTME, Post UTME, SAT I & II, IELTS, and TOEFL. The requirement for this programme is six credits at one sitting in the SSCE. The basic subjects will be Mathematics, English Language, and ICT, plus three core subjects related to the intended university course. While English language constitutes the fourth subject for UTME, Mathematics, and English form the bedrock of SAT whereas English language is the major component of IELTS and TOEFL.
Please note that a good IELTS score also enhances getting placement in UK universities.
This programme also offers opportunity to students who wish to retake SSCE as well as writing the UTME and Post UTME. It will offer them the opportunity of improving their grades and obtain high mark for UTME. The target is to groom students for choice courses.
